1. Due diligence

In the interests of protecting and reassuring investors, we undertake due diligence checks to demonstrate the commercial viability of the developer and proper legal status of the projects (i.e. land ownership, title type, access, planning permissions, company papers, director references and checks etc.)

2. Customer relationship management

All organizations we deal with are assigned a highly qualified and trained consultant who can provide them with full project information, marketing and sales support. Each project is assigned a dedicated administration team of experienced individuals who are thoroughly familiar with local legal requirements as well as general local knowledge about airports, travel times, hotels and even restaurants.

3. Contract administration

From our extensive customer service experience we can assist the developer with the formation of the sales and purchase contracts. From the investors’ perspective we provide a seamless link with the developer and lawyers which will reinforce their initial decision by providing them with a reassuring, professional and accessible service.

4. Bridging cultural differences

While the economic fundamentals of foreign markets can be very exciting, investors are inevitably cautious about differences in the way that business is transacted on a day-to-day basis in distant locations. Veritas provides relevant local information which enables you to make a more informed decision about your investment and to give you peace of mind.

5. Legal requirements

Once the project has been proved to be compliant with Veritas due diligence requirements, we will ensure that the format of the sales and purchase agreements is in a generic form which enables it to be referenced by investors’ legal advisers in a variety of countries.

6. Money transmission

Veritas advises on and arranges the complex issues of foreign exchange and money transmission between all parties and keeps accountable, auditable records of all transactions.
